Boðn - Viking Costrel

In Norse belief, the dwarfs Fjalarr and Galarr catch the blood flowing from the giant Kvasir and kept it safe in the vessels Boðn and Són and in the cauldron Óðrœrir. The blood is the mead of poetry, which pass into the possession of the giant Suttungr. Finally, Óðinn steals the mead from him.

Fully functional Leather water/wine bottle. Perfect for cosplay, Ren Faires, reenactment, and just to have one because they look epic.

Traditionally known as a "Costrel," these bottles are lined and sealed with beeswax or pine pitch to prevent leaking and protect the vessel.

-Coating the outside of these bottles in beeswax, to seal and protect it, may darken the colors that you see in the photo.
-Do NOT squeeze the bottle or the beeswax liner can crack, causing it to leak.
-Putting spirits in the bottle that are stronger than beer or wine could cause the beeswax to dissolve and your bottle to leak.
-After use, rinse the bottle with water and hang upside down to dry. Do not store liquids inside for long periods.
-This bottle is lined with beeswax, so if you have an allergy to bees or honey then you use this at your own risk.
